How to Make a White Logo in Canva Using A PNG (With Transparent Background)

Need a white version of your logo for dark backgrounds, photos, or clean minimal designs? Canva makes it easy—even if your original logo is a different color.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to turning your logo white in just a few clicks.

Step 1: Upload Your Logo

Drag your PNG logo into a blank Canva canvas. Make sure it has a transparent background.

Step 2: Use the Duotone Effect

Select the logo image, go to Edit Photo, then click on Effects and choose Duotone. Any duotone preset will work for this step.

Now, scroll down and change both the shadow and highlight colors to white. Your logo will appear to disappear—don’t worry, it’s just white now!

Step 3: Add a Background to See the Result

Add a shape with a darker background and move it behind your logo to reveal the white design.

Step 4: Download with Transparent Background

If you have Canva Pro, go to Share > Download, choose PNG or SVG, and make sure to check Transparent Background.

Now you have a clean, high-quality white version of your logo—ready to use anywhere!

This quick trick is perfect for social media graphics, product mockups, or branding projects. Give it a try and keep your designs looking professional and polished.
