If you’ve ever opened Photoshop only to find your favorite toolbars missing, you know it can disrupt your workflow. Here’s a quick guide to fixing this issue so you can get back to designing smoothly.
First, go to Window in the top menu to find any missing toolbars and check the ones you want visible. Make sure the following tools are turned on:
- Application Frame
- Options
- Tools
- Contextual Task Bar
Resetting your workspace can also restore the placement of your tools. Just go to Window > Workspace > Reset [Your Workspace]. This action returns the tools to their original layout, saving you from hunting through menus. I like to use the Essentials and Photography workspaces in Photoshop.
