When you design a logo, you’re not just creating one graphic — you’re building a branding toolkit. A strong logo design process includes preparing multiple logo variations to give your client flexibility across platforms, sizes, and use cases.

🔁 Why Logo Variations Matter
A logo isn’t one-size-fits-all. A client’s needs will vary — social media profile, website header, product packaging, invoices, stickers — and each use case might require a slightly different logo format.
Here are the three must-have logo versions I deliver in every project:
1. Horizontal Logo
This is your classic layout — icon and text side-by-side. It’s versatile and perfect for website headers, email signatures, and letterheads.
2. Stacked Logo
Sometimes vertical space is easier to work with. A stacked logo (icon above, text below) gives your client another strong option for formats like print materials, signage, or vertical social graphics.
3. Icon Only
Your logo’s icon should be strong enough to stand on its own. Delivering it as a separate file allows clients to use it as a favicon, profile picture, watermark, or submark.
🎨 Don’t Forget the Color Variations:
For each of the above, I also include:
- Full-color version
- Black version
- White (reversed-out) version

This provides maximum flexibility whether they’re working on light, dark, or colored backgrounds.
🧾 Bonus: Export Formats
I typically export all logo variations in high-res PNG, SVG, and PDF formats — ready for both print and digital use.
